Anmol Johal, RCC

Sessions are available in English or Punjabi.

I’ve walked a path shaped by personal experiences and rigorous training, leading me to understand the beauty of human struggle and resilience deeply. With an educational background in psychology and personal experience working with kids, teens, and adults in the therapy room. My experience ranges from individual and group therapy to behavioral support work, social justice advocacy, and a children’s field hockey coach. I’ve delved into the intricate realms of the human mind and heart.

My own life experiences have ignited an unwavering empathy within me rooted in human connection - the kind that comes from navigating life’s challenges head-on. This empathy and my personal experience fuel my passion to guide you through the tough terrains of trauma, stress, addiction, adjustment issues, and whatever else you may encounter on your road to wellness. I’ve been privileged to witness the astonishing healing that blooms within the safe space of therapeutic relationships. I believe wholeheartedly in your capacity for growth, and together, we’ll chart a course through the shadows, illuminating your path to transformation and resilience.

I use several therapeutic modalities and techniques to best cater to your needs (i.e., Narrative, DBT, Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, etc.) My main approach is all about narrative therapy - understanding that life is a series of stories waiting to be told and retold. Let’s reshape your narrative together, empowering you to thrive. Recognizing the individuality of every client I work with, I tailor my approach to suit everyone’s needs and preferences best. Our journey will involve reinterpreting your experiences and crafting a story that truly reflects your strength.
