Support can help you reclaim a sense of safety and control.
Experiencing or witnessing a crime can have a lasting emotional impact. You may feel unsafe, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. These reactions are understandable responses to distressing events.
CVAP counselling provides a safe and confidential space to explore the emotional effects of trauma. Clients often seek support for anxiety, fear, depression, sleep difficulties, grief, anger, or challenges with trust and relationships.
Counselling through CVAP allows for gentle self-exploration and healing, helping you make sense of your experiences while building coping strategies and resilience. Our counsellors work in a trauma-informed way, respecting your boundaries and individual needs.
If you are eligible for CVAP funding, counselling sessions may be covered. We provide direct billing to CVAP, making the process as simple and stress-free as possible. Please feel free to book your appointment online or contact us to discuss whether CVAP counselling is the right option for you.
