You may find yourself feeling stuck, anxious, or triggered in ways that are hard to explain. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy approach designed to help process these experiences so they no longer feel as distressing.
EMDR can be helpful for working with trauma, anxiety, distressing memories, fears, and negative beliefs about oneself. Through a structured and supportive process, EMDR helps the brain reprocess difficult experiences, allowing them to feel more manageable and less intrusive over time.
Oftentimes, clients seek EMDR when they feel ready to move beyond simply coping, and toward healing and resolution.
